“Wondering about the story behind this sign, placed high on the outside gymnasium wall…”

That is what my friend Lana Miller wondered after seeing this plaque at the Ocean View High School gym:

RIP, Christina. And we’ll need to make sure that plaque is preserved.

    She was absent friend, and classmate since Kindergarten… I remember her still to this day. She and her family were the nicest people on Earth! My classmates went through a lot the rest of that year…
