I’m pleased to announce my new column in the HB Local News. The’ve dubbed it “Epting’s World” and so that’s what it will be; my world in and around Huntington Beach. As the kickoff column states, I will continue to write about human interest stories in HB, along with investigating some harder hitting issues as stated in the piece. Looking forward to serving you all; please feel to reach out with story ideas. The paper, along with the other local publications, is available for free each week at more than 100 drop boxes around the city (and I’ll be posting it here as well).

Wonderful! We’ve missed you. Yours is such an important voice in our community and elsewhere! I’m glad to see that the Local News has the wisdom and courage (unlike the disgraceful LA Times) to put you back into weekly print. Readership will no doubt soar, and I’m personally going to seek out hard copies of the new vehicle and support its advertisers. You, and your work, are local treasures to be cherished!
